Description:
Testosterone Isocaproate is a form of the male hormone testosterone. It is used to make sustanon and most commonly known as Nebido. After an application the isocaproate ester releases a long lasting effect of testosterone into the bloodstream, lasting approximately 10 days depending on the users metabolism and initial hormone levels. To maintain the physiological levels of the testosterone in the body it is necessary to receive applications every 10 days to maintain hormone levels.
Testosterone Isocaproate is not found individually but it is contained in some other drugs such as in Sustanon 250 and also in Omnadren, which are easily available in the market. Testosterone Isocaproate is somewhat same to the Testosterone Caproate but with a few exceptions. It has got same number of hydrogens, carbons, oxygen and same molecular weight but its active life is one day more as compared to Testosterone Caproate. Testosterone Isocaproate is bounded with a fatty acid or an ester which causes a delay in its release in the body. As told earlier that it has got a more active life which means it will stay in the body for a longer period of time and therefore to get it in the form of an injection once or at max twice a week in enough.
Chemical Characteristics
Testosterone Isocaproate is a modified form of the male hormone testosterone. It is an ester of a carboxylic acid bound to the 17-beta hydroxyl group. These modified forms of testosterone are not as polarized as free testosterone which generates slow absorption from the injection site. Once the testosterone isocaproate is in the bloodstream, the isocaproate ester separates from the testosterone making it free and active. This type of esterified steroid is designed to prolong the effect of the testosterone in the body, requiring less injections compared to other steroids that are not esterified. Testosterone isocaproate has a half life of approximately 10 days.
Isocaproate Profile
Isocaproate, it is not an anabolic steroid but an ester that can be attached to a steroid in the same fashion as the more popular Cypionate or Enanthate esters. Like the Cypionate and Enanthate, Isocaproate can also be attached to the testosterone hormone, but in the case of Isocaproate this will typically be the only place we see it attached. Testosterone-Isocaproate, a single ester form is virtually unheard of; if you find it then it was more than likely a specialty order, and there’s really no reason to ever need Testosterone-Isocaproate in this single ester form. Where we’ll find the Isocaproate ester most commonly and where it serves a large benefit is in testosterone mixtures; specifically Omnadren and Sustanon-250. Omnadren and Sustanon-250 are both testosterone compounds with four esters attached; four varying in size distinct esters that make up one total testosterone compound. As for the Isocaproate ester, this is a moderate sized ester that fills the role in an in-between sense between the small and large esters. At any rate, the Isocaproate ester plays an important role as it helps keep blood levels stable, and through the total compound you are receiving a total testosterone benefit for a long period of time. Side Effects
All types of testosterone have the ability to aromatize in the body due to an ester called aromatase, this is also responsible for the conversion of testosterone into estrogen. Due to the prolonged effect of testosterone isocaproate, hormone levels tend to fluctuate after every application increasing the risk for higher estrogen levels in the bloodstream. It is essential to use antiestrogens to control estrogen levels and to decrease the risk of gynecomastia, water retention and body fat gain. These type of products have no hepatotoxic effects compared to other oral substances. Like all other anabolic androgenic steroids, testosterone has the ability to reduce the production of endogenous testosterone. Prolonged use could cause hypogonadism which could cause an excessive loss of muscle mass and an anabolic and catabolic hormones at the termination of testosterone treatment. It is important to complete a proper post cycle therapy to stimulate the production of endogenous testosterone to avoid losing significant muscle mass during a short period of time.

Testosterone Isocaproate is an oil base that is generally a very light yellow to transparent in colour. In high concentrations testosterone isocaproate does not crystallize within the vial. The viscosity in comparison to other substances is high and it is uncommonly found on its own. Generally it is found amongst the four testosterones used to make sustanon.
